Show and Tell / Re: Makey Makey midi controller

Pretty sure it can, with the right softwares, like touchOSC or TouchDAW. Maybe there is better alternative, i don't have iPads. And the latency, if signal with midi, can be  bit high foe some usge.

If there was more space allowed in the header tag, this would be a lot easier
Show and Tell / Makey Makey midi controller

Can the iPad really replace a standard MIDI controller? Im looking to get the iPad anyways so that would be killing two birds with one stone if it also can be my MIDI controller.
Questions / 5v control

Is there a way to control the motor from the 5v input on back of Makey?
We have tried to use the arrows/keyboard to stop/go with no luck :(
The input pins are an excellent addition to the Makey, would like to see more resources for setting this up.
Please help if you can with step by step instructions.

Hackcess / Gaming Controller for Quadriplegic

Im c6 complete with no finger control but I managed to play need for speed on my 360 with my regular controller, it was hard but do able.

I tried the two codes but none of them worked.
The makeymakey just acted as usual, grounded :/

But finally, is it really possible NOW to tweak the code in order not to be grounded?

Thx again
Questions / Music for disabled people
« Last post by Sam on October 24, 2016, 10:17:43 AM »

I work with disabled people, and I want to use makey makey so that they can "play" some music.

My idea is to  connect makey makey to a software which can play loops (drums loops, bass loops, guitar loops, piano loops, and so on).
So , by touching a surface, a loop is played. And 5 persons could play 5 loops, which could make a song.
But can 5 persons use the same makey makey ?

(by the way, if you know such a software, tell me... )

Thank you very much !

Hey Liam!

Thanks for the videos and reaching out! Yup, Tom has shown me the videos you've linked and I have learnt lots from "Jedi Lucas"!

In sunny Singapore, we have started our monthly Hackcess SG meetups with kids with special needs who are mainly non-mobile and non-verbal (so using MM to create cheaper, more customised AAC solutions). We have started out with trying out the MM on tablets as most of the kids are familiar with them. I have also posed a challenge to the parents and kids to "Demystify the extremely high costs of the "Big Mac"".

Will post photos and videos as we go along!
